We were out of state October 27-November 20th - and away from a computer that would work for me. It's good to be back! Now on to learning about using ning.
Tell me about the ribbon grass issue. Can it be dug out and transplanted or used in floral designs...or is ribbon grass a gentler term for weed? Please show me a sample on Sunday...
Your question about group text boxes: I think there's only one per group. And downside of the text box is that it's static - not editable by other group members. But how about creating a discussion item - call it Prop. Contractors Reference? This allows other group members to add questions, content -- collects all the info in one place, like an updatable reference file. If there are documents that you want in a library, believe you can also add a GoogleDoc app -- to store documents 'in the cloud'. Whatever you dream, you can do -- except multiple group text boxes!
Hi Jessica,
Thanks for the compliment on the pics...as I age I appreciate the B/W worldview....
I belong to a number of Ning groups. So, when you see my Friends list, you see my friends from other Ning groups outside our church group. Folks from other Ning groups can't see your emails to our group, however. Carol and I are pleased that the Ning group seems to be working better than the Yahoo group. Let's keep the community growing!
