Property Committee
Information
The property committee is responsible for the upkeep of the church building and grounds. This site can be used to discuss needs and solutions, track long term projects, and contacts.

To Do List (short term projects)
These are not in any particular order.
1. Front Doors - paint white, inside and outside
2. Sign in front yard - clean and touch-up paint
3. Repaint the door trims to the library, offices, nursery, etc. (The trims to the kitchen, janitor's workroom and back door have been done already.)
4. Bathrooms - install water saving ballcocks to all toilets
5. Gardens - general upkeep, weeding and pruning (i.e., prune bushes around cross). Plan arrangements better and fill in to make gardens low maintenance in future. Do something fabulous for the front mound!
6. Gardens - remove and destroy ribbon grass!!
7. Trees - cut down dying trees and the tall tree that is front/center/against the church sanctuary.
8. Repair electricity to garage. Install motion sensor light for back of garage.
9. Purchase and install new window treatments for the nursery, and possibly the fellowship hall and classroom.

Comment by Jessica Kaercher on November 4, 2009 at 2:11pm - There is a need for additional volunteers to help with Property Committee duties. Also, we are looking for someone to lead the Committee, as Mark and I no longer will be co-chairing. We have a list of things that should be done to improve the appearance of our building and I will be posting them here on Ning. I also wanted to include the contact information of businesses we have hired in the past, so they can be called upon again if needed.
